Good-bye October

Busy times are ahead, so I thought I'd do a recap on October. Does that make sense? No. I just want to do a recap.

October 1st I decided that I would celebrate the month (my birth month and favorite month) by taking a break. I had worked hard for 6 months, A HALF A YEAR, on my body and new healthy lifestyle, by indulging a little. I have never worked that hard or long on myself. My metabolism is better, my sleeping is a little better, I have strength and some more energy. It's paying off, but I needed a little break.

Indulging this month included: Many Pumpkin smoothies, Chunky Monkey, I completed four embroidery projects, This healthy Birthday Cake, I got a manicure and pedicure, and some Halloween treats. I have gained 4 lbs. I was pretty bummed at first, but I can't complain, it is only 4 off the 40 I lost....now 36.

It's the 1st of the month and now it's time to get back on track. I am not worried about Thanksgiving because Randy is going to make the feast this year, all delicious vegetables, fruit, and Turkey. Grandma Ro has to bring her own stuffing. I'm not to worried about Christmas either.

October also included spending some quality time with all of our family. My sister has been walking with me on her days off in the evening. Cousin Rachel and Baby Fox have come to visit. We've spent time with both grandmas and both grandpas. We've seen Aunt T.T./Theresa a lot this month and got to see Uncle Joe and cousin Jake, and Great Grandma Dory.
I got a bonus friend visit from Amy too! :)

I really enjoyed October and I am actually looking forward to the holidays this year. I am not looking forward to the pain of getting back into my daily workouts, but that's the price I have to pay for indulgence.

...and now I will leave you with some recap pics. XOXOX

Fantastic pics! Is that huge white pumpkin real???

I fell off the diet wagon during my birthday month too, and I'm still trying to climb back on :(

You are looking very fit, healthy, and strong....it won't take long to drop those 4#'s!
